NEW YORK — EMS Week closes out with an artistic tribute to fallen FDNY EMT Yadira Arroyo.
New York Daily News reports a mural in Arroyo’s honor appeared in the Bronx neighborhood of Soundview, the neighborhood where she served.
Arroyo, 44, was considered the “Matriarch of Station 26.” She died in March when a man ran her over after stealing her ambulance.
