ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — New surveillance video released last week showed a police officer tasing an off-duty firefighter-EMT at a bar and roughing up another firefighter.

Hillsborough County Firefighter Clint Walker, 32, was tased by St. Petersburg police officer at a bar, after police charged him with battery on a law enforcement officer.

Police said Walker was being combative when they questioned him about an incident where a man knocked out another; one witness accused Walker.

However, surveillance video shows another man knocking out a man.

Walker told ABC Action News that the officers tased him four times while he was kicked on the ground and told to “stop resisting.”

“He’s literally standing there with his hands behind his back and then they tasered him to the ground and then continued to taser him,” Walker’s attorney Jerry Theophilopoulos said.

Theophilopoulos said police profiled his client because he’s a member of what federal law enforcement officials call a criminal motorcycle gang, the Outlaws.

A second Hillsborough firefighter, Robert Ramirez, was also arrested and charged with obstruction of law enforcement. The video show an officer grabbing Ramirez by the face while handcuffing him, and then shoving him while escorting him out of the bar.

St. Petersburg Police have sent the video to their Office of Professional Standards for review; there has not yet been a complaint filed.

Walker’s and Ramirez’s case is still under investigation.
