CFSI accepting applications for Excellence in Fire Service-Based EMS Award

The award honors fire departments for implementing innovations in EMS

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI) is accepting applications for the CFSI/Masimo Excellence in Fire Service-Based EMS Award, which recognizes fire departments in career and volunteer/combination categories for implementing innovations in EMS.

CFSI and medical technology company Masimo established the award to recognize innovative departments and share their contributions with other departments seeking new solutions for delivering EMS to their communities.

The deadline for applications is Jan. 17, 2020. Only departments, not individuals, are eligible. More information about the award can be found on the CFSI website.

Award recipients will be honored at the 32^nd Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner on April 30, 2020, in Washington, D.C.
