NEW YORK — A 24-year-old EMT stationed in Brooklyn died of a suspected drug overdose in March, according to a report.

Identified as Alexander Raso, the Staten Islander was found unconscious by his father at their home in Concord on March 16, according to the NYPD.

Police sources told The Post that Raso’s body was found next to an empty aerosol can and there were several other cans nearby.

Also known as huffing, inhaling chemicals to get high is a known form of drug abuse.

Raso had only been an EMT since September and worked at EMS Station 59 in Canarsie, according to the report.

Oren Barzilay, president of Local 2507 – Uniformed EMTs, Paramedics and Fire Inspectors – told The Post the FDNY didn’t have much information about Raso’s death.

The city Medical Examiner’s office told The Post the cause of death is pending investigation.
