BATON ROUGE, La. — A woman died in a hospital after being hit by an ambulance on Thursday, WAFB reported.
The woman was trying to cross the street at about 8 p.m. near the corner of Plank Road and Mohican Street, the Baton Rouge Police Department said.
She was transported to a hospital in serious condition and died at the hospital.
The incident is being investigated.
