NIBLEY, Utah — Funeral services were held Monday for a paramedic who was one of four killed in an air ambulance crash earlier this month.
Jake Shepherd, 24, died Nov. 18 when the air ambulance he was in crashed in Elko, Nev.
Family, friends and colleagues attended the funeral, reported Good4Utah.
“I feel like it was such an honor just to be his mother because he was just, he had the sweetest heart and in school he would stand up for those being bullied,” Shepherd’s mother said during the service.
Shepherd leaves behind a wife and three children. A GoFundMe account has raised over $21,000 for his family.
