Flags ordered at half-staff for EMT killed in crash

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — The governor of Minnesota has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of a fallen EMT.
Twin Cities reported that Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered all state and federal buildings in Minnesota to fly flags at half-staff to honor EMT Marina DeSteno Challeen, 24, who was killed in an ambulance crash Oct 9.
DeSteno Challeen was a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
The flags will be held at half-staff from sunrise to sunset, according to Gov. Dayton’s order.
