MERSEYSIDE, England —The body believed to be of a paramedic who went missing earlier this week was found Thursday morning.
Paramedic Alan Gribben, 51, with the North West Ambulance Service, was last seen Monday by his ambulance partner and relatives, reported the Liverpool Echo.
“Merseyside Police can confirm that a body believed to be that of 51-year-old Alan Gribben has been found in Halsnead Park, Whiston, this morning,” a police spokesman said. “Officers have informed the family, but he is yet to be formally identified.”
Colleagues said his disappearance was out of character and unexpected.
Officials said his death was not believed to be suspicious.
