‘A significant step forward': Ala. FD partners with training company to enhance EMS

RAINBOW CITY, Ala. — The Rainbow City Fire Department is strengthening its EMS program through a new partnership with Fully Involved Medical Direction & Training, led by Dr. Joshua Williams, MD.

The collaboration will implement updated, evidence-based medical protocols and provide comprehensive medical oversight, along with access to nationally recognized CEUs for all EMS providers, advancing professional development and clinical excellence, ABC 33/40 reported.

“This is a significant step forward for our department and our community as we continue to expand our capabilities and strive for excellence in pre-hospital emergency care,” the department stated.

The Rainbow City Fire Department thanked the community for its support as it works to improve patient outcomes and deliver high-quality emergency medical care. The department welcomed Dr. Joshua Williams and the Fully Involved Medical Direction & Training team, expressing confidence in a strong partnership committed to advancing prehospital medicine.
