STEMI Alert app for emergency responders launched

The app-based service allows medics to transmit ECGs and patient information to physicians

MedApps released a new app-based EMS service called STEMI Alert.

The app allows emergency responders to transmit ECGs to physicians. The user can capture an image of the ECG, input patient information and send. Doctors receiving the ECG can make a diagnosis and activate the cath lab.

The app also allows medics and doctors to video chat and construct a plan of care while the patient is en route to the hospital.

The app can be downloaded for free on the App Store and Google Play.
