QUEENSLAND, Australia — Paramedic science students at the University of the Sunshine Coast can now gain hands-on experience in the back of an ambulance, without having to leave campus.

The $80,000 fully fitted, primary-response ambulance simulator is the first of its kind to be installed at a university in Queensland.

USC Head of School of Health and Sport Sciences John Lowe said the simulator was a replica of ambulances used in Queensland.
