Physical Stabilization of Patients

Have you ever been told to “hold the patient down and ended up getting punched, kicked, bitten, or head butted?” This presentation demonstrates how to properly stabilize an uncooperative/violent patient – safely and efficiently for both the patient and you and your crew members.

Presented by:
Peter Jaskulski
Captain/Training Director — Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office
Assistant Fire Chief — Hales Corners Fire Department

Training Bullet Points:

  • 1. A non-intrusive approach to stabilization
  • 2. Sequencing- First hands, then head, then feet
