Spring Happenings
SPRING, Texas — On Thursday July 23rd at approximately 4:40 p.m. emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Meadow Edge and Holzwarth in reference to a major accident with person(s) trapped.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene to find a male who had struck a power pole and was trapped inside his vehicle, they advised he was in critical condition. Lifeflight was requested to the scene to transport the patient by helicopter. The fire department used cutting tools to extricate the patient from the vehicle.
In a normal scenario the patient gets loaded in the helicopter, takes off and heads to the hospital but this scenario was very different.
