PRESS RELEASE

VAN WERT, Ohio — Braun Ambulances, a leading manufacturer in crafting custom ambulances backed by rugged durability, will spotlight its Express Plus Type 1 ambulance at EMS World Expo 2025 from October 22 to 24 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The featured unit is built on a Ford F-450 4×4 Diesel chassis and will be on display courtesy of Laurens County EMS and Braun dealer partner Spartan Fire & Emergency Apparatus Inc. in booth #1200.

Engineered for the realities of emergency response, the Express Plus Type 1 combines rugged dependability, customizable craftsmanship, and a Lifetime Structural Warranty. These hallmarks of Braun’s Built for Life promise ensure that first responders can focus on patient care without worrying about the durability of their vehicle.

“Every ambulance we build is a promise to the first responders who trust us with their lives,” said Kris Turner, U.S. Channel Development Director for Braun Ambulances. “The Express Plus embodies that commitment. Its rugged construction and adaptable design reflect the pride our entire team takes in creating vehicles that will withstand years of demanding service. Knowing our craftsmanship supports the safety, comfort, and performance of EMS professionals on every call is why we do what we do, and it’s an honor we never take lightly.”

The Laurens County EMS ambulance exemplifies Braun’s dedication to crafting vehicles that meet the unique needs of EMS professionals. It features Whelen 600, 700, and 900 Series LED lighting systems for exceptional visibility, an E-Z O₂ Oxygen Lift that makes handling cylinders effortless and helps crew work more comfortably, efficiently, and safely during every shift, and a Multiplex Modular Connected (MMC) Electrical System for intuitive control of module functions. Blue LED lighting in the patient compartment creates a calming environment for patients, while the EZ Glide™ sliding door allows for safer and easier entry and exit.

Inside, Braun’s all-aluminum welded cabinets ensure a comfortable and safe workspace featuring rounded corners, spray-foam insulation, and a high-performance HVAC system. With a 150” module length, 93” width, and 72” of headroom, the Express Plus provides ample room for equipment and crew.

EMS World Expo guests are invited to explore the Express Plus Type 1 up close in booth #1200 and enter a draw for a chance to win a set of Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones—a small token of appreciation to the EMS professionals who tirelessly support their communities.
