HARLEM, N.Y. — A man died Wednesday night after getting struck by a hit and run driver, police said. The victim was struck on the intersection of West 120th Street and 7th Avenue in Harlem.
According to officials, the operator of the vehicle attempted to flee the scene but his vehicle overturned a block later.
The victim’s ordeal seemed to worsen from the scene after a responding ambulance arrived. According to reports, the emergency vehicle en route to the hospital, collided with another car at Cathedral Parkway and Manhattan Avenue.
