QUEENSLAND, Australia — A doctor and his pregnant wife have thanked the Queensland Ambulance Service for helping to ensure their baby was delivered during the flooding in south-east Queensland.
Floodwaters trapped paediatrician Doug Shelton and his wife between two swollen creeks as they drove to hospital for the birth of their first child last night.
Liza Shelton says the conditions were the worst she has seen in eight years on Tamborine Mountain.
