LOS ANGELES — Three people, including a firefighter, suffered minor injuries in a collision between a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance and a minivan in Reseda Tuesday.
The crash happened in the 7000 block of North Reseda Boulevard at about 11:50 a.m. as the firefighters responded to a call of a structure fire that turned out to be a false alarm, LAFD spokeswoman d’Lisa Davies said.
“It never got there,” Davies said.
Davies said the normal procedure in a case like this is for the ambulance to stop and render aid. Another ambulance was then dispatched to the fire.
