Wis. man to give $25K to lucky first responder

Any emergency responder from EMS, fire or police can pick up their scratch-off ticket by Wednesday

RACINE, Wis. — Brett Kaydo says first responders don’t get enough credit for all they do and that’s why hes running a contest to give one of them $25,000.

“I think it’s important we show our appreciation for them. There’s some 2.2 million first responders for the nearly 300 million people they serve and we take them for granted,” said Brett Kaydo, owner of Four Seasons Landscaping in Racine.

From fighting fires to solving crimes and providing care in times of emergency, Kaydo says he wanted to find a way to give back to those who give so much to the community. Here’s how it works.
