MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. — Operators of the only private ambulance service with a base in Montgomery County are concerned that proposed regulations will limit their business here.

Michael Ross, president and CEO of First Call, told members of the county’s EMS Committee his concern is with a section of the regulations that reserves for Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service all emergency room-to-emergency room transports to Nashville facilities.

The committee, along with its ad hoc committee, met Tuesday to allow Ross and other First Call representatives to express their views on the proposed regulations.
