PITTSBURGH — Officials are looking into an inappropriate comment made on Facebook by a paramedic.
WTAE.com reported that the comment made by paramedic David Morris was posted under a Facebook post by Brandi Fisher, president and CEO of the Alliance for Police Accountability.
Fisher posted about a Dallas police officer, who was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting death of a man, as well as the death of another man who testified at the officer's trial.
One comment in the post said, "FOP the other blue gang."
Morris also commented on the post, saying, "That's why I don't care when one of them goes down."
Mayor Bill Peduto said human resources will determine if the comment violated any EMS or city social media policies.
