OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — The National Association of EMS Physicians is launching a CPR video challenge to celebrate National EMS Week and to encourage bystander participation in assisting cardiac arrest victims.

The organization released an educational music video to demonstrate how 100 to 120 bpm songs can assist with the application of CPR and is encouraging agencies across the country to create their own videos to help educate the public.

Participants should upload their completed videos to Facebook or Twitter before the end of EMS Week using the caption #NAEMSPCPRChallenge. The creator of the best video will win two free registrations to the NAEMSP 2020 annual meeting in San Diego, California.

EMS Week runs from May 19-25, and is a federally designated week to recognize EMS providers for their role in protecting communities across the country.
