This week’s Photo of the Week comes from Paramedic Alberto Baldanza of Northwell Health and shows a powerful image of him and his partner, EMT Michael Aguilar (left), entering a confirmed COVID-19 case in Queens.
The New York metro area has become the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, with nearly 50,000 cases in New York City alone as of the time of this writing.
Baldanza said he and his partner are trying to stay safe as they hold the line in the ongoing crisis.
