BUFFALO, N.Y. — City leaders are close to finalizing a contract with Rural Metro. Three companies submitted proposals to city administrators last year. Competitor American Medical Response says the city didn’t give everyone a fair shot at the deal.
AMR submitted its pitch to the City of Buffalo more than a year ago.
“Then the whole process went dark,” said Thomas McEntee, with AMR. “There was no public hearing, there was no opportunity to present, there was no transparency.”
