ST. HELIER, Jersey — The postal service of Jersey, an island located between England and France, found an innovative way of taking care of their elderly, preventing the need for emergency or hospital care.
In this new program, called “Call and Check”, postal workers, along with their deliveries, offer services such as check-ins and prescription drug drop-offs twice a week at a low cost.
