ST. GEORGE, Ontario — Paramedics visited the home of a 6-year-old boy battling cancer with surprise presents.

Perth County Paramedics Julie Jeffrey and Jeff Sager gave Evan and his brother gifts and an dress up like their heroes.

“I’m truly speechless, given yesterday and everything that we heard regarding Evan, it definitely was a ray of sunshine in our life,” said Nicole Wellwood, Evan’s mother.

“It’s just nice that we can help her out anyway possible, so helping her out with parking, or food costs, or just travel back and forth, with gas it all adds up,” said Sager.

“You know we see people at their worst and today doing something like this it just been amazing,” said Jeffrey.
