FORESTON, Minn. — A Minnesota EMS provider was injured after a rollover ambulance crash during a non-emergency transport.

The provider, Jeremy Jody Black, was driving the rig Sunday morning when he lost control and it began to spin, according to Brainerd Dispatch. The ambulance rotated before leaving the road and then rolling onto the driver’s side.

Road conditions were icy and slushy at the time of the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Black was transported to the hospital and his injuries are reportedly not life-threatening.
