ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Paramedic-in-training Ryan Graham said he’s starting to get a nickname around the Elizabeth Township Area EMS station: Black Cloud.
The handle springs from an assortment of “severe and intense” calls that have come his way during his short career as an ambulance crew member.
There have been a few serious cardiac situations, but the trainee’s most noteworthy call came three weeks ago. Graham, 20, was doing his second shift ever on an ambulance when he and his crewmates safely delivered a healthy baby boy.
