POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Two EMS providers were injured Saturday evening in an ambulance crash with another vehicle, Mid Hudson News reported.
The crew was responding to a call at the time and had the rig’s lights and siren on. The ambulance left the roadway, knocked down a streetlight and crashed into a fence.
Police officers and firefighters shut down traffic in the area, and firefighters tended to the injured EMS providers. They were transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle was evaluated at the scene.
