Paramedic, EMT hurt after ambulance flips, crashes

Officials said rainy weather conditions may have contributed to the crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A paramedic and EMT were injured Friday evening after their ambulance flipped and crashed on a highway.

WMC5.com reported that the Memphis Fire Department ambulance unit #20, which had severe front and side damage, was towed from the scene after the crash.

According to an Instagram post, a paramedic and EMT were treated at the hospital for minor injuries. The driver, according to the report, was cited for failure to maintain proper control.

The crash is currently under investigation, but officials said rainy weather conditions could have contributed.
