DETROIT — Three Detroit first responders and a patient were injured in a rollover ambulance crash on Friday.
Two paramedics, a firefighter and a patient who had suffered smoke inhalation at a fire were inside the rig when it was struck by another vehicle and flipped onto its side, according to WXYZ.
The first responders were taken to the hospital for treatment after the crash and have since been released.
The patient was transported in another ambulance; their current condition is unknown but authorities said they are expected to survive.
