PRINCETON, W.Va. — A 71-year-old woman died when the ambulance transporting her to a doctor’s appointment collided with another car near Princeton, W. Va.
There is no word yet if the medics on board were injured.
Gladys Tipton, 71, was inside the ambulance when it was hit and rolled into a gravel parking lot. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Metro News reports.
The other car was attempting to make a U-turn and avoid traffic caused by another accident when the two vehicles crashed.
