SAN DIEGO — Three inebriated Lyft passengers burglarized a parked ambulance and then stole from their driver before fleeing on foot.
ABC10 reported that three men were being transported by a Lyft driver when they spotted a parked ambulance and requested their driver pull over and let them out.
According to police, one of the men stated his mother was in the ambulance.
A paramedic caught one of the men in the back of the ambulance, and chased him back to the Lyft, where the other two men were in the process of stealing their driver’s business cards and two bags of chips.
The men fled on foot, and could not be located by police once they arrived on scene.
