PITTSBURGH — An EMT was injured when a Pittsburgh EMS ambulance was involved in a crash while the crew was responding to a call Monday afternoon.
KDKA reported a vehicle collided with Medic 45 at an intersection in the Homewood South section of the city, causing the unit to roll over.
According to a WTAE report, the EMT driving the ambulance was extricated from the rig and transported in stable condition with injuries to her hand and pelvis.
Two other EMTs inside the ambulance and the passenger of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital in stable condition, while the driver was uninjured.
