CLEVELAND — An off-duty Cleveland paramedic was carjacked at gunpoint Thursday outside the EMS union hall in Tremont.
No arrests have been made in the case, and the 35-year-old paramedic was not injured, police reports say.
The robbery happened about 2:30 p.m. Thursday outside the EMS Union Hall on Professor Street near Starkweather Avenue.
The paramedic told police he parked his Ford Escape in the parking lot and got out.
A man ran up to him and put a gun in his face, according to police reports. The robber stole his keys, wallet and phone, police reports say.
The robber got in the paramedics SUV and sped off. The paramedic’s gun was inside the SUV, according to police reports.
