EMS crew finds shooting victim in ambulance driver’s seat

Police said an EMS crew was responding to another call when they heard shots fired and found Charleston Scott in the ambulance moments later

RICHMOND, Va. — An EMS crew found a shooting victim inside their ambulance while responding to an unrelated call.

NBC12 reported that a crew heard shots fired while responding to a medical call, according to police.

The crew said they were treating a patient in the back of the ambulance when they found Charleston Scott in the driver’s seat of the ambulance, according to Richmond Times-Dispatch.

He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
