CLEVELAND — A Cleveland paramedic has turned in a lengthy resignation letter detailing an alleged toxic and dangerous environment within Cleveland EMS.
According to Fox 8 Cleveland, Paramedic Megan Mull quit her job and sent a resignation letter to city council members and officials at City Hall detailing why she left her dream job.
Mull cited a “toxic and dangerous environments” as reasons for her departure. She also mentioned that understaffing and a low salary are an issue.
In the letter, Mull said that city ambulances are continually being taken out of service and those broken-down ambulances are a “public embarrassment.”
“I want to make it clear and known that I am not leaving CEMS for another job,” Mull said at the end of the letter. “I will miss this career, the citizens, and my coworkers deeply.”
