SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. — Three children were injured when the inflatable bounce house they were in was ripped from its moorings and carried it 50 feet into the air.
Two boys, 5 and 6, are in serious condition after falling from the toy. A 10-year-old girl, who was near the door of the structure, suffered scraps, the Post-Star reported.
One witness told the paper it was like a horror movie with the structure continuing to climb higher than their homes.
One boy was thrown from the house and landed on a parked car; the other landed on asphalt.
A witness told the paper that the bounce house was staked to the ground, but that the strong wind tore the stakes free.
