MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Pennsylvania EMT who works at youth football games has been accused of asking minors for pictures of their feet and buying their used socks for sexual purposes.
Christopher Lee Minnier, 37, was arrested and charged with three counts of corruption of minors for alleged communications with boys he met through his EMS job, according to Lancaster Online.
Minnier is employed by Game Time EMS, a company that specializes in emergency medical care at youth sports games and charity events.
“Using various social media applications, Minnier contacted two juveniles and asked them to send him photographs of their bare feet, for the purpose of sexual gratification,” the Manheim Police Department said in a statement.
An affidavit states he then met the two boys at a park, where he paid them both $50 for pairs of their worn socks.
Police say Minnier also contacted a third boy, asking for a photograph “below the shoulders and above the knees” and requesting to buy his dirty socks for $100.
According to the affidavit, the third minor did not oblige either of Minnier’s requests, and Minnier contacted the police himself after the boy said he would report him if he didn’t send $2,000.
A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Dec. 27.
