In this week’s Inside EMS podcast, hosts Chris Cebollero and Kelly Grayson discuss physical fitness tips for EMTs and medics on-the-go in light of a recent article about a New York medic that lost 30 pounds in the Today Show’s 6 Months to a 6-Pack challenge.

They also talk about the importance of continuing education in the clinical issue segment.

“I don’t understand the processes of why when you have the opportunity to sit in front of a physician —who’s giving up two hours of his or her time to teach you something — why we take umbrage to those things,” Chris said. “How do we ensure we make this time the best opportunity we can have?”

Chris and Kelly interview paramedic and lawyer Wes Ogilvie in their guest table segment. They ask for his expert legal advice on the biggest misconceptions of EMTs and medics when it comes to the law and their duties.
