ENGLAND — Prince William is expected to take a job as an air ambulance pilot rather than embark on full-time royal duties.
A year after he stepped down as a search-and-rescue pilot with the RAF, plans are being drawn up for him to take a “day job” with the East Anglian air ambulance service near his country home.
He is understood to have told aides he is not yet ready for full-time royal engagements, a stance supported by Prince Charles, who is said to have regretted leaving the Royal Navy too soon.
