HOLLAND, Mich. — After a local paramedic was seriously injured in a vehicle crash last month, the Holland Department of Public Safety is hosting a car wash and bake sale Saturday to raise funds for his medical costs.
Tim Hoffman was injured while on a call Aug. 7 and has been making steady steps toward recovery, reported WHTC.
In an effort to help Hoffman and his family while he recovers, the town’s fire services division will donate all proceeds from the event to the Hoffman’s.
The car wash and bake sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kollen Park Fire Station.
A GoFundMe for Hoffman has raised nearly $50,000 with an overall goal of $100,000.
