PHOENIX, Ariz. — Authorities say a 24-year-old woman has died after being accidentally shot while giving her boyfriend a hug Tuesday.
Phoenix Police Department spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the accident happened around 11:45 a.m. near 87th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Thompson said the woman and her 18-year-old boyfriend were hugging when she became uncomfortable with a gun in his waistband.
