‘Drunk’ NY ADA allegedly hit, chokes paramedic

The Brooklyn assistant district attorney was reportedly intoxicated when EMTs were trying to put him in an ambulance

NEW YORK — A drunk man and Brooklyn assistant district attorney has been arrested after allegedly hitting and choking a female paramedic who was trying help him, cops say.

Michael Jaccarino, 30, who sources said is a Kings County assistant district attorney, was arrested at 1:03 a.m. on the Brooklyn Bridge after an EMS crew, responding to reports the man was intoxicated, tried to take him to Beth Israel Hospital, police said.

As the EMTs were trying to put him in the ambulance, he began to fight, and choked one female paramedic and hit her in the face, police said.
