SALT LAKE CITY — Eleven students from a technology college in Spanish Fork were taken to the hospital after feeling dizzy and nauseous.

Mountainland Applied Technology College spokesman Mark Middlebrook said one student passed out Monday morning. They were all fine by Monday afternoon.

He says officials don’t know what caused the students to feel dizzy. Middlebrook said firefighters and gas company officials tested and found no elevated levels of carbon monoxide.

The impacted students were in the cosmetology and dental departments of the school.
