NEW YORK — An FDNY EMT who was killed by her own ambulance will be honored on the first anniversary of her death.

Patch.com reported that EMS providers will gather for a candlelight vigil at the location where Yadira Arroyo’s ambulance was carjacked by Jose Gonzalez, who ran her over as he tried to drive away.

The vigil will occur at 5 p.m. at the corner of White Plains Road and Watson Avenue in the Bronx.

Gonzalez, who pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, will appear in court March 29.
