PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Md. — When two paramedics rushed to revive a heart attack victim, they had no idea they would be receiving awards for saving a captain with the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff.
Firefighter-paramedics Christopher J Hammond and Edward Haaxma were presented with Emergency Services Awards for their actions in November 2008.
They were met by Captain Terry Griffith and his wife who each expressed extreme gratitude for the emergency response.
