LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A paramedic with MEMS Little Rock is making a big recovery just several days after a police cruiser collided with the ambulance he was working in. James Aaron Binkley was seriously injured in the crash. It happened near the intersection of Maumelle Blvd and Edgewood Drive early Tuesday morning.
“I stepped out into the hallway and I just sank, I didn’t know what to do,” says Beth Binkley, James’ Wife.
Beth Binkley, James’ wife, says she’s thankful for everyone who stepped in to help treat her husband after impact. Binkley was tending to a patient as they were being transported to the hospital when they were hit by an on-duty officer. Little did he know the man he was treating was going to return the favor.
