RICHMOND, Ky. — Consolidating Richmond’s 911 dispatch should be one of the first places city commissioners look when trying to find ways of being more financially efficient, said Magistrate Bill Tudor at last week’s fiscal court meeting.
“They’re concerned about losing employees by shutting their operation down,” Tudor said.
Tudor asked Wendy Lynch, director of the joint 911 dispatch, if all of Richmond’s dispatch employees would be absorbed into the system.
