New NAEMT Board Takes Office

Clinton, Miss. — As of January 1, the new Board of Directors for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) has taken office. Following are the current officers and directors elected by NAEMT’s general members this past fall, as well as directors who are continuing their term of service:

President: Connie Meyer
Meyer, of Greeley, Kansas, formerly President-Elect, has succeeded Patrick Moore as President for a two-year term.

President-Elect: Don Lundy
Lundy, of Charleston, S.C., most recently served as the NAEMT Director for Region II. He will serve as President-Elect for two years.

Secretary: Charlene Donahue
Donahue, of Sunnyvale, Calif., has served NAEMT as the Region IV Director for the past few years. Donahue will serve in the position of Secretary for two years.

Treasurer: Rick Ellis
Ellis, of Macon, Ga., has served as NAEMT Treasurer for the last two years. He was re-elected to the position for another two-year term.

Immediate Past President: Patrick Moore
After serving as President the past two years, Moore, of Conway, Ark., will hold this position on the Board for the next two years.

Region I Director: Jennifer Frenette
Frenette, of Lancaster, N.H., will hold this position through December 31, 2011.

Region I Director: Jim Slattery
Slattery, of Middleboro, Mass., was re-elected for a two-year term to his position as Region I Director.

Region II Director: Dennis Rowe
Rowe, of Louden, Tenn., was re-elected for a two-year term to his position as Region II Director.

Region III Director: Aimee Binning
Binning, of Pinedale, Wyo., won re-election for a two-year term to her position as Region III Director.

Region III Director: Sue Jacobus
Jacobus, of Schuyler, Neb., will continue her service in this position through December 31, 2011.

Region IV Director: K.C. Jones
Jones, of Harrison, Ark.,will hold this position through December 31, 2011.

Region IV Director: Rod Barrett
Barrett, of Bentonville, Ark., is newly elected to the NAEMT Board of Directors, where he will
serve a two-year term as Region IV Director.

At-Large Director: C.T. Kearns
Kearns, of Safety Harbor, Fla., will hold this position through December 31, 2011.

At-Large Director: Jules Scadden
Scadden, of Sac City, Iowa, is newly elected to this position for a two-year term.

Leaving the Board are Immediate Past President Jerry Johnston, Secretary Donald Walsh, and At-Large Director Kenneth Bouvier. NAEMT thanks them for their years of dedicated service.
