AUSTIN, Texas — First responders from Austin are heading out of town and eventually to the coast.
About a dozen Austin firefighters were in college station Monday preparing as part of Texas Task Force One. Local EMS technicians are also hitting the road.
They’re all preparing for the worst case scenario. With tropical moisture organizing in the Gulf, crews from all around the state are headed to San Antonio to stage for possible coastal flooding.
